Thanks in advance for any help, - "The Very-Old-Timer". (I mean, they MUST be out there somewhere, right?) My Question: Does anyone know where Adobe has stashed those "manual update" files for legacy versions of Illustrator? Are they (somewhere) avaliable on that FTP-site? Are they stored there under a different name or category?Īny help locating such files, particular for AI-10, CS2, CS4, CS5 and CS6 would be greatly, GREATLY appricated! (Updates for almost every other legacy Adobe application are present, going back over 20 years, but apparently NOT for illustrator.) However, I have NOT been able to locate ANY updates for Illustrator on that site. Luckily, Adobe still maintains almost all updates on its FTP-site. "Automatic Updates" are no longer available for most of these legacy products. Using the Photoshop CS5 version, you may forget about updates, risk losing your personal data and downloading plenty of viruses.I don't claim to be a "creative professional," and barely claim to be a "creative amateur." However, I have been using Adobe product (mostly Photoshop and Ilustrator) for over 25 years and am very happy with the legacy (perpetual license) versions. Using the official version, you instantly provide yourself with the latest updates.
